Dave has been my Golf Coach for about 4 years now and I am playing better than I could have ever imagined. It's rare to find a golf instructor that actually played on the PGA Tour and can show you firsthand how to execute the shots. When I first started with Dave I was lucky to break 100 and just last week I shot my best round ever, 75! I now understand my swing and am able to make changes, sometimes mid-round! Do yourself a favor and take a lesson from Dave.

I've been taking lessons with David on a regular basis for the past year, and I can tell you his instructional methods make more sense than any other teacher I've been to. He knows exactly how to diagnose and fix problems no matter what your skill level is. If you're looking for a path to good golf, David will provide you with this through video analysis and proven methods of practice to improve your stroke. If you're a slicer, he WILL fix it. If you hit hooks like I do, he'll get you fixed. After a year of instruction, I've gone from shooting in the high 90's to low 80's and my short game is miles better than it was when I started taking lessons. I will continue to take lessons and have a strong belief that I will be shooting in the 70's this year.

I have been playing golf off and on for over 25 years.  When I started I bought some clubs and watched other players practice.  I just swung like they did.  Eventually, I could make contact with the ball and away I went.  I always thought I was an average player, with scores of 100 plus (mostly well above that). 

About three years ago I decided to join a group of players at work for weekly golf.  As I got into playing every week, it became apparent to me I had many flaws in my game.  Nothing I did on my own helped.  In fact I thought I was getting worse.

About a year later, I was at the Bonita golf course getting ready to play.  I saw a young man warming up. He had an incredibly relaxed swing yet struck the ball powerfully. I talked to the guy for a bit and found out he had been taking lessons with Dave Patchin.  I found Dave and told him I was interested in improving my game.  I started lessons and it did not take long for me to realize that Dave knew the game of golf.  More importantly, Dave knew how to teach someone how to play golf. 

I’ve been taking lessons from Dave for about two years now.  That might seem long to some of you.  However, I had over 20 years of bad mechanical habits to change.  Dave has systematically changed all aspects my game, full swings, short game, putting and course strategy. 

I’m in my 50’s.  I work full time and have a busy life.  I’m no scratch golfer for sure.  But, there was a time when I was too  embarrassed to go to a golf course as a single and join strangers for a round.  That’s no longer the case.  I often play as a single and I have the confidence to play with anyone.  I enjoy golf now more than ever and see myself playing as long as I can swing a club.  I am forever grateful for all Dave’s effort and commitment to improving my game.  I highly recommend Dave to anyone wanting to improve their game.

Fantastic golf coach, I highly recommend him.  Dave has an easy going demeanor that combines great technical instruction with a fun atmosphere.  I've been taking lessons with Dave for several years.  My regular lessons allow me to continue to improve my golf skills while getting great exercise.  His lesson prices are affordable and this has made it easy to maintain ongoing instruction and continue to improve my game.
